Easy to use, that is why I like it so much.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I use to make my tea in big quantities since I drank so much. I would make 2 gallons at a time since it was such a hassle to make with a tea ball and boiling water. I quit making it after awhile.
I avoided getting the automatic ones since they make only a couple of quarts at a time. I missed homemade tea after a while so I gave in and got it anyway since it looked so easy. I got this one and I loved how simple it was and no clean up it's just 3 steps: Put water in, Put tea in brewing cup and push a button. when your done wash out the brewing cup and you're finished. I don't mind having to make it every three or four days since it is way easier than what I had been doing and the tea is always fresh.
The instructions tell you to fill the tea maker with a quart of water and fill up the pitcher with the same amount of ice. I do it differently to get the most out of my tea. I do not use ice and run one cycle then fill it up with another quart of water and run it again. This makes the tea seep twice. Then I take the filter out fill it up the rest of the way with water and put it in the refrigerator.
I really like the slim design the tea maker slips in between an already crowded kitchen counter top easily and the pitcher doesn't take hardly any room in the fridge.
I'm very happy I bought this and the quality is great but I do wish they would make a 3 quart version.

The best tea I have made
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The most used appliance in my house now.

1st thing first. Had problems on how to get it to work. Instructions is confusing. I did not know that I was suppose to put water in the tower up to the line. It will not work unless you pour cold water in the tower to the line. Then push a button on tower, it will light up and will stay on until done. . I use tea bags and put it on strong. Let it drip. It fill almost half way. Add 1 cup of sugar, stir it up real good while the tea is hot. .Then add more water to the tower one more time. Using same tea bags. Wait at least 2 minutes then push the red button on tower and it will stay on until it is finished. Now you have hot sweet tea add a cinnamon stick every now and then to give it a different flavor. Are put it in the refrigerator after the tea cools down. MMMMMmmmmmm goood ice cold tea.

Where Have You Gone, Joe Dimaggio?
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker served me faithfully for many years. However, after many broken pots and tedious cleanings (it never got really clean), I switched to the HB. It has now been six months since I bought this from Amazon. I am a heavy IT drinker and this machine is incredible. I gave the Mr. Coffee away. Mr. Coffee broke new ground with its machine. But, like Joe Dimaggio - original mentor for Mr. Coffee - he knew when it was time to put down the bat. Time to say Goodbyle to the Mr. Coffee and hello to the HB. You will never look back.

Hamilton Beach 40911 2-Quart Electric Iced Tea Maker
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I wasn't crazy about this iced tea maker. The pitcher isn't dish washer safe (I forgot to check that out before I bought it) and the pitcher is quite flimsy or so it feels. There is a pull out thing that the pitcher has to sit on will the tea brews, it's a real pain in the ass and very unnecessary. The tea is fine and the pitcher does fit nicely in the fridge door compartment,but...the reason I bought this machine was because of the rave review someone else posted. If my Mr Coffee pitcher didn't keep needing to be replaced, I wouldn't have bought a new tea maker (I went back to my Mr Coffee)

I've had this maker for at least 2 years
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I admit that I used this thing sparingly in the first year. Now I use it at least once a week. I get consistent results everytime (I use 5 family tea bags each time). What a great product. The tea is at your desired strength (I choose the strongest); and can be sweetened to your liking. I'm shopping for one of these as a housewarming/Christmas gift for my aunt. She was impressed by it while visiting me. A nice shortcut for a Southern favorite.

Great!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this tea maker about a year ago and I make a pitcher almost every day. It really makes excellent tea. Now when I go to a restaurant I hate to order the iced tea because it always tastes rank in comparison to the tea from this machine. I highly recommend this iced tea maker!

Great Value Tea Maker
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I drink a pitcher of tea a day and LOVE this tea maker! It is quick and convenient to use with excellent tea strength. I also like the elongated smaller shape of the pitcher which fits in the frig without taking up too much space. Having used my father's Mr. Coffee tea maker, this one is far easier, faster and more convenient. The one and only drawback is that I am now purchasing my fourth tea maker in 5 years because the motor and internal workings wear out within about a year since I use it so often! No problem, though, since the price is so reasonable. This way I always have spare pitchers on hand!

Highly Recommended Tea Maker
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
After trying some tea from a friends house in his Mr. Coffee Tea Maker we really looked
at purchasing a tea maker for ourselves.

I did some research online and found this Hamilton Beach had excellent reviews and decided to purchase
for my fiance as a gift. He loved it and we have made tea in it 3 or 4 times already.
It was everything the reviews had said. I love that the pitcher is very sturdy, slim, easy to
clean and it stacks nice for storage as shown on the box.

We love it and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing a tea maker.

Pros- Affordably priced, sturdy and slim designed pitcher, ease of use and cleanup.
